Book A ClassYin Yoga is a form of yoga that is practised slowly, with poses held for minutes rather than seconds.
Known as “the quiet yoga”, Yin yoga focuses attention on our deeper connective tissue and joints, rather than just the muscles exercised in more dynamic forms of yoga.
We do all the postures either sitting or lying down. Don’t be deceived though – it’s challenging, but completely different way to more dynamic styles. Unlike our Rocket and Ashtanga classes, you don’t have to be particularly fit to do it - everyone is welcome, from complete beginner to experienced yogi!
This 60-minute class will take you through a brief orientation through breath before settling into the yin. We will end with a period of relaxation in the form of a short yoga nidra - a form of deep relaxation that will set you up nicely for a perfect night's rest.
